Price Gouging Statute in Effect

Price gouging protections pertaining to goods and services, including motor fuel, diesel fuel, and other petroleum products, that were invoked by the State of Emergency for Severe Flooding, went into effect on Friday, November 8, 2024, and shall remain in effect until 11:59pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, for the following counties only:  Atkinson, Ben Hill, Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Dodge, Effingham, Emanuel, Evans, Irwin, Jeff Davis, Jefferson, Lanier, Laurens, Lowndes, Montgomery, Screven, Tattnall, Telfair, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler counties.
